Top Matriculant Attends 2023 National Senior Certificate Examination Results Announcement

Top-performing matriculant, Nomfundo Mthembu, had the privilege of attending the Ministerial Release of the 2023 National Senior Certificate Examination Results. She shared a glimpse of her exciting journey on social media. Minister Angie Motshekga is set to announce the results of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations on 18 January 2024 at the Mosaïek Church in Randburg.

As part of the celebration, Motshekga will host a congratulatory breakfast for the learners and parents on the morning of 18 January. Nomfundo is one of the deserving learners who will attend this prestigious event.

In a TikTok video, Nomfundo can be seen on the plane and posing with other students. This achievement not only showcases her academic success but also serves as an inspiration to many young people in South Africa.

Mzansi users flooded the comments section with praise and congratulations for Nomfundo. Prominent figures such as Maite and Shawn Kobe commended her for her accomplishments. Others like Amahle Mgenge, Mohale TestimonyMC, KuhlekonkeMayise, Cindy Radebe, and Thandor_Success expressed their happiness and well wishes.

Notable mention goes to another academic achiever, Khanya Mhlongo, who has been accepted to study economics at Yale University in Connecticut. Hilton College, his high school, proudly announced this achievement of their Class of 2023 prodigy and deputy head prefect.

Upon receiving the acceptance letter, Khanya expressed his gratitude to God for the incredible opportunity.
