Vidyut Jammwal Begins Filming ‘Street Fighter’ with 50 Cent and Cody Rhodes

Sydney, Australia — Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal began filming his debut Hollywood movie, “Street Fighter,” on Monday morning. He shared pictures on Instagram, where he posed with rapper 50 Cent and WWE superstar Cody Rhodes on a yacht in Sydney.

In the photos, Jammwal expressed his excitement about his new venture, stating, “In the company of warriors, I find my tribe. #streetfighter.” The upcoming American martial arts film is directed by Kitao Sakurai, featuring a script by Dalan Musson.

“Street Fighter” is the third live-action adaptation of the iconic fighting game franchise created by Capcom. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns, and others.

Jammwal will portray Dhalsim, a character known for his unique fighting style. The cast also includes David Dastmalchian as the villain M. Bison, Orville Peck as Vega, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, and Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki.

The original “Street Fighter” game was launched in 1987 and has sold over 55 million units globally. The story revolves around a global fighting tournament organized by M. Bison, the leader of the evil organization Shadaloo.

Fans are already buzzing about the film, with anticipation surrounding its release. As the cast continues to reveal details, interest in the project is rapidly growing.
