The White Lotus Season 4 Locations France

Los Angeles, CA — HBO‘s acclaimed series ‘The White Lotus‘ is eyeing France for its upcoming fourth season, sources confirmed. The announcement comes as show creator Mike White seeks fresh settings after the success of the third season filmed in Thailand.

Locations for Season 4 have not been finalized, with potential spots rumored to include the renowned Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera. This hotel is close to Cannes and holds strong ties to Hollywood. However, HBO has yet to comment on any specific venue.

Historically, ‘The White Lotus’ uses multiple resorts each season, as seen in Season 3 which primarily featured the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui along with three other hotels. As such, it remains unclear whether a French Four Seasons resort will serve as the main location for the new season.

In addition to the Grand-Hôtel, two other Four Seasons hotels are located in France: the Megève in the French Alps and Hotel George V in Paris. While the Cap-Ferrat’s setup aligns with the coastal vibe of previous seasons, it might create a contrast to the anticipated changes.

“For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves, but there’s always room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels,” White has stated. Details on whether the series will keep a coastal setting are still awaited, especially given White’s previous fatigue with cold locations for filming.

Should production start before May 2026, the ski resort Megève may need to be reconsidered, as it is bustling during winter months. Alternatively, a Parisian setting could represent a stark departure from past resort-centered plots.

Reports indicate that the decision for Season 4’s location was delayed, as White required more time to regroup after Season 3’s Emmy success. The third season flaunted 23 Emmy nominations, further establishing the series’ reputation.
