Lsu Women's Basketball Schedule 2025

BATON ROUGE, La. — The LSU women’s basketball team has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season, preparing to build on their strong performance from the previous year.

Returning players Flau'Jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams will lead the Tigers alongside key transfer Kate Koval from Notre Dame. Head coach Kim Mulkey has also secured the nation’s top recruiting class to complement her returning squad.

LSU kicks off the season with two exhibition games against Mississippi College and Langston before their opener against Houston Christian on November 4. Two days later, they will face in-state rival Southeastern Louisiana.

The Tigers’ first road game is set for November 17 in New Orleans, where they will compete against Tulane. LSU will then participate in the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands, matching up against Marist and potentially Miami-Ohio or Washington State.

On December 4, the Tigers will visit Duke as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge and will return to face New Orleans three days later. Their SEC play commences on January 1 against Kentucky, with subsequent games against Vanderbilt and Georgia, who defeated LSU at the end of last season.

Texas is on the 16-game SEC schedule, facing the Tigers twice, starting in Baton Rouge. The Tigers will also host Alabama on February 1 and see South Carolina, led by coach Dawn Staley, on February 14. This matchup will mark a significant occasion as MiLaysia Fulwiley faces her former team.

Tennessee will play at Baton Rouge on February 26, followed by the Tigers’ final regular season game against Mississippi State. LSU begins postseason play on March 4, with hopes for a strong NCAA Tournament run starting March 18.
