SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Main Exam Dates Announced for Junior Associates

The State Bank of India (SBI), the largest public sector bank in India, has officially announced the dates for the main examination for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) under advertisement number CRPD/CR/2023-24/27. The main exam is scheduled to be held on February 25 and March 4, 2024.

The SBI Clerk prelims examination was conducted on January 5, 6, 11, and 12, 2024, and candidates who appeared for the prelims are eagerly awaiting the SBI Clerk Prelims Result, which is expected to be released soon by the bank.

Successful candidates in the SBI Junior Associate preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the main exam. Through this recruitment process, SBI aims to fill more than 8,000 vacancies for the position of Clerk in various branches of the bank.

The vacancies are distributed across different states, with 3515 unreserved positions, and reserved positions for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories. States like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Gujarat, and Jharkhand have varying numbers of vacancies for the SBI Clerk post.

Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be called for the online main examination, followed by a proficiency test in the local language. The SBI Clerk Main Exam will consist of four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Computer Aptitude. The exam duration will be 2 hours and 40 minutes with a total of 200 marks, including 190 questions. Negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answers.

Selected candidates will receive a basic pay scale of Rs. 17,900 – Rs. 47,920 with an additional increment of Rs. 19,900. Stay tuned for the upcoming SBI Clerk Prelims Result on the official website of SBI, where candidates can check their results and further updates.
