Liverpool Chelsea Premier League Match

Stamford Bridge, London, England – Liverpool has made five changes to its lineup for this evening’s Premier League match against Chelsea. Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will make his Premier League debut, stepping in for the injured Alisson Becker.

Defender Conor Bradley returns, while Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, and Mohamed Salah also reclaim their spots in the starting eleven. Federico Chiesa and Hugo Ekitike are fit enough to be named among the substitutes.

The full Liverpool lineup includes Mamardashvili, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Milos Kerkez, Dominik Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Salah, Bradley, Cody Gakpo, and Ryan Gravenberch. Substitutes are Dean Woodman, Joe Gomez, Wataru Endo, Florian Wirtz, Chiesa, Curtis Jones, Ekitike, Andrew Robertson, and Jeremie Frimpong.

Across the touchline, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has opted for three changes after their recent victory over Benfica in the Champions League. Chelsea aims to build on that momentum with an important win before the upcoming October international break.

Goalkeeper Robert Sánchez retains his position, with a backline that includes Malo Gusto, Benoît Badiashile, Dujon Acheampong, and Marc Cucurella. Midfielder Reece James, captain of the side, will also feature, as well as forwards including Alejandro Garnacho and João Pedro.

The Chelsea starting lineup consists of Sánchez; Cucurella, Badiashile, Acheampong, Gusto; Caicedo, James (c); Garnacho, Enzo Fernández, Neto; and João Pedro in attack. The substitutes bench includes Jörgensen, Slonina, Hato, Lavia, Landon Emenalo, Buonanotte, Estêvão, Gittens, and Guiu.

The match is set to kick off at 17:30 BST at Stamford Bridge with referee Anthony Taylor overseeing the action. This fixture marks another chapter in the ongoing rivalry between these two storied clubs.
